Kipling is based on an agricultural economy of grain, livestock and mixed farms as well as an ever-increasingly strong oil exploration and service sector. The livestock industry boasts the addition of several large hog operations in the last few years. Kipling has increasingly become the centre for health care in this area. We are located just one and one half hours drive from the cities of Yorkton, Regina, Estevan and Weyburn. Four Rural Municipalities including the RM's of Hazelwood, Kingsley, Golden West and Chester border the town.
