We are a non-denomination women 's group who meet the first Wednesday of each
month at a member's home. We discuss women's issues and support various projects
at home and abroad.

Meetings usually first Wednesday of the month in Kipling High School. Aim to
encourage the enjoyment of the performing and visual arts in Kipling, chiefly
through an annual concert series and through visiting art exhibitions. New
members are welcome.

Service Club Meetings, first and third Wednesdays, from September to June,
inclusive. -First Wednesday 7:00 p.m. supper meeting.-Third
Wednesday, Community Hall, 8:00 p.m. general meeting. Lions Clubs International
is a service club devoted to community betterment. Internationally, Lions work
with the Blind, Diabetes, Youth and the environment. Locally, they have
contributed to the Community Centre, SARCAN Building, Arena, Ambulance Garage,
Swimming Pool, Golf Course, Handi- Transit Van, Ball Park and Friendship Centre.
Their annual projects include Two Bonspiels for
Grades 1 to 8, Senior Citizens Supper, Community Birthday Calendars and Terry

Kipling and District Historical Society

Comprising several buildings the museum includes a main building housing many
artifacts and photos, as well as a Legion history area. A complete historical
church, vintage gas station, country school house, dentist office, farm shop and
the historical brick Ovans house, all at the same location. Open weekends July
and August. If no one is there, a phone number will be posted on the door of
main building. Admission: donation. Located on Fourth Street, next to the RCMP

The Auxiliary meets the fourth Thursday of every month in the Willowdale Lodge
basement. Our aim is to raise money to purchase items needed for the care of our
senior citizens and do things to bring them joy and pleasure.
